"In early 2007, my wife and I hired your Ponte Mellor Architects, Ltd. and Estoril Construction, Inc. to design and build a custom home for us in Chevy Chase. The demolition occurred in August 2007, and the build began shortly thereafter. The home is scheduled to be completed on September 1, 2008. While we are only a third of the way through the project, and there are countless unknowns that lay ahead of us, this much is clear: Frazier and I could not have found a better team of professionals and people to work with than the folks at Ponte Mellor and Estoril. The work they do is incredibly demanding. It requires a high level of skill in a variety of areas, including those of organization, creativity, management, industry, craftsmanship, and of course, architecture and construction. The patience that has been shown to us, as well as the support, expertise and level of professionalism has been superb. All meetings have been constructive and organized. The team members are consistently prepared for and knowledgeable about the matters to be discussed. We always feel supported and guided, even thought we are overwhelmed by the magnitude of what we have undertaken. While it is easy for an architect or builder to select just the "successful" past projects to a prospective client, I think being able to present someone who is in the middle of a build as a reference, with all the unknowns associated therein, speaks volumes."
